Johnson Acquah and Samuel Antwi have both reached the last four of an Interplast Top 16 with quarter-final victories at the Accra lawn tennis club on Thursday 22nd April 2021.
Top seed Johnson Acquah won 6-4, 6-4 against Ronald Totimeh. Speaking to ghanatennis.org Johnson said, "I believe I can win the event. It is possible and only a couple of matches away now. I'll just give everything I've got the next few days," Johnson plays 2021 Accra Open Winner- Samuel Antwi who ousted Benjamin Fumi 6-1, 6-1.
2015 Davis Cup Star Japheth Bagerbaseh got into semifinals after beating Felix Hammond 6-1, 6-2. Japheth will play 2016 National Ranking Tour 1 Champion Pascal Ziyab who outwitted Bernard Ashitey Armaah 6-4,6-2. "Pascal Ziyab is obviously playing great tennis," Japheth said. "It is going to be extremely difficult but hopefully I can play my best tennis and reach the finals."
In the women's draw, Annette Cruickshank takes on Akua Hansen and Tracy Ampah plays Yvonne Bruce Tagoe.
